Maria del Rosario: 15+ years experience working in the corporate and education & training sector, I have worked as a Marketing Manager spearheading national campaigns for some of the world’s leading FMCG brands prior to making the decision to become a dedicated teaching and training professional. Equipped with both high level commercial and vocational qualifications, my strengths lie in my expert ability to understand emerging and current trends to contemporise training and education content and delivery to maximise learner value, experience and outcomes.

Edita Didic: 10+ years experience working in hands-on business roles within the training and education sector, I built an accomplished career working for one of Australia’s leading education brand organisations. Initially starting off in co-ordination roles, I quickly established myself as a sought-after expert in contemporary and innovative training and education programs, especially for learners from Culturally And Linguistically Diverse backgrounds.  Besides my array of business and training qualifications, my strengths lie in my expert ability to best understand and operate programs within contemporary regulations and standards, ensuring high-level functionality, innovation and compliance. 

CHC30808 CERTIFICATE III IN EDUCATION SUPPORT
This qualification covers workers in a range of education settings including public and independent schools and community education settings, who provide assistance and support to teachers and students under broad based supervision. There are 17 units that are required for award of this qualification including: 12 core units and 5 elective units.

 Education aides may perform the following tasks:

  • Assist and participate in activities that improve the physical, social, emotional and intellectual development of children in schools and preschool centres
  • Prepare indoor or outdoor areas for learning or recreational activities
  • Assist children with intellectual, physical and behavioural difficulties with their academic studies
  • Assist students with physical challenges by lifting, positioning and exercising, and transferring them to or from transportation
  • Assist with personal hygiene, toileting and feeding requirements as required by each individual student
  • Undertake specific therapy tasks with individual students under the guidance of the teacher or nominated professional
  • Assist students with intellectual disabilities with the use of learning aids
  • Assist children individually to learn social skills
  • Assist with the preparation of teaching materials, copying and collating written or printed material
  • Distribute and collect lesson material

CHC30113 CERTIFICATE III IN EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION AND CARE
 This qualification reflects the role of workers in a range of early childhood education settings who work within the requirements of the Education and Care Services National Regulations and the National Quality Standard. They support the implementation of an approved learning framework, and support children’s wellbeing, learning and development. Depending on the setting, educators may work under direct supervision or autonomously. There are 18 units that are required for award of this qualification including: 15 core units and 3 elective units.Early childhood educators may perform the following tasks:

  • Plan and implement developmental programs based on observation of individual children
  • Observe and record children’s growth, behavior & development & discuss these with parents
  • Integrate children with special needs into the program, modifying the program & the physical environment if necessary
  • Supervise & train staff
  • Prepare play & learning materials & set up the children’s environment
  • Supervise children’s play, ensuring their physical safety at all times
  • Help children with daily routines such as toileting, dressing, eating & sleeping
  • Guide children’s behavior & social development
  • Prepare light snacks & meals
  • Maintain a safe, clean and appealing environment
